Patricia Burris has been practicing matrimonial law as an associate at Arons & Solomon Divorce Lawyers since 1999, following a prestigious clerkship with the Honorable James B. Convery, JSC in Essex County, New Jersey. “Having spent 22 years running a business with my husband and years before that working as a public relations assistant and a notions/fabric buyer, at the age of 49, I set my sights on a new career in the law. I entered law school as a full-time student, graduated with honors, clerked for the Honorable James B. Convery, and joined Arons & Solomon Divorce Lawyers. I haven’t looked back since.”
Pat, as she likes to be called, now has 20 years of matrimonial experience addressing the issues of alimony, child support and custody, equitable distribution of assets, and other concerns of family law practice. She has served as a panelist on the Bergen County Early Settlement Panel program for the past 15 years and she has served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem. Away from the office, Pat enjoys international travel, riding her electric bicycle, Broadway theater, and attempting to improve her cooking skills.
