Mitchell Arons is a founding member of Arons & Solomon Divorce Lawyers He has been practicing family law exclusively since 1991 and is well known in the legal community as a matrimonial attorney with strong skills in negotiation, litigation, mediation, and collaborative law. He has a solid background in finance and business, graduating with honors in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from Emory University Law School, he returned to North Jersey for a prestigious clerkship with Superior Court Judge Andrew Napolitano.

Early in his career, he focused on real estate and transactional law at a prominent law firm in Paramus, New Jersey. He and Marion Solomon co-founded Arons & Solomon Divorce Lawyers in 1994. He has been a certified mediator since 1994. He has been a chairman of the Bergen County Settlement Panel for more than 20 years. In 2006 he co-founded the Collaborative Divorce Association of North Jersey, formerly the North Jersey Collaborative Practice Group, which is dedicated to resolving matrimonial disputes in a transparent and respectful manner.
